All blankets are made from long refractory fibers, binder free and are needled. They have excellent strength before and after heating. All blankets have excellent chemical resistance unaffected by all chemicals except hydrofluoric acids and strong alkalies. It is made from Sim wool Bulk Fibers, which is manufactured by using high purity Alumina, Silica and (Zircon). Double needling enhances the physical properties of the blanket, conferring good strength, handling ability, durability and resistance to DE-laminating. The Maximum use temperature depends on the application. In case of doubt, refer to MMTCL Technical service for advice. Lightweight, low thermal conductivity, high temperature stability, excellent handling strength, low heat storage, thermal shock resistance, chemical and corrosion resistance (commonly used acid and alkali), excellent fire protection.
